Tyler & Gianna’s wedding felt like stepping into a romantic daydream — soft light, effortless elegance, and a love so genuine it practically posed itself. Capturing moments like this is why I do what I do: real connection, cinematic emotion, and the kind of magic that feels straight out of a love song. These two were a dream to photograph — sweet souls with a story that practically told itself through the lens.
On the day of Shy'Anne and Chris session, I let them know I was headed their way, and upon getting into the car plugging in the address to our session location, several different places popped up, so I went with my gut and what I thought made the most sense, and when I reached what I thought was my destination, there was nothing there. I got super nervous and told them I had never had something like this happen before. They were so kind and patient and willing to figure it out, so we drove around and found this cute, sun filled little pocket of land tucked away off an old country road.. and honestly, I wouldn't have had it any other way.
This wedding will forever go down as my favorite. The venue itself took my breath away, and if the venue wasn't enough the bride was a real life princess. Kaitlin and Garrett were the kindest, most down to earth couple. The reception was just down the road from the main venue, and it did not disappoint. Every detail was carefully curated and everything was absolutely beautiful.
Wesley and Mai brought all the joy and charm to their session—complete with the cutest furry guests! Between the playful cows, the cozy countryside vibes, and their natural chemistry, this shoot was nothing short of magical. They laughed, snuggled, and soaked in the moment together, and it was such a fun reminder that love is even sweeter when you're just being yourselves.
Amber and Mack, live just down the road from me, so we connected on all being from a small town. We laughed and had so much fun capturing their sweet love, hilarious dog and that sweet baby bump!! I had so much fun exploring their property and trying like hell to convince Mack to be a KU fan...spoiler alert, it didn't work!
I was honored to be a part of Derek and Alexis small ceremony at Unity Chapel in KC. It reminded me that it doesn't have to have the biggest price tag on it to be special. Simple, raw, real love. That's what I was able to witness at their ceremony. Unity Chapel is a great place if you're looking for something smaller, with an old timey charm. Can't wait to work with them again soon!
If you need to one thing about me, its that I LOVE animals. Even more specifically horses. This was one of my earlier shoots and still to this day one of my favorites. The lighting was perfect, Joker behaved so well, and seeing the connection Paige had with her sweet horse was beautiful to witness. I loved every second of this session.
Let's just take a moment and appreciate that gorgeous sunset. As a photographer, I am constantly searching for this light. Their wedding day couples portraits were a dream to shoot. The ceremony was so lovely, and I definitely did not make it through without crying, and their reception was so an absolute blast!
